The long awaited self titled debut from Lea Lea has finally arrived and its due for release on October 7th. For the album, she has collaborated with renowned producer and drummer, Jack Baker along with writing partner Kim Garrett to bring the world something quite spectacular and unique with a mix of heavy bass and beats with 80´s soul and a rock inspired edge to complete this puzzle.

The debut kicks starts with The Wonderer, which doesn’t stagger. We are thrown into a euphoria of beats and an hypnotic aura. A pumping tempo and smooth melody envelope together to create this force to be reckoned with. Dry is a slightly lighter sound but still full of bite. There´s beats and bass left, right and center. Its very catching and you cant help but move to it. Its foot tapping and stompingly good.

Dead Girl Walking is heavy on the bass line, giving it the full foundation to allow the electro 80´s beat to slide in on top to finish it off. A thumping tempo that doesn’t back down and before you know it, you will be cranking that volume up. Aparteid is all oriental and sexy beats combined with the lingering vocals of Lea to create a funky off the cuff formula that lures you in effortlessly.

Black or White is dark, powerful and undeniably good. Its heavy beats wrap around Lea´s extraordinary vocal. We continue to dance through One In Three, AK47, Fire and end on The Road without one bad trip. Its unique, full of beats, heavy bass and deep Soul from the beginning right through until the end. It takes you on a hypnotic, infectious journey to the beyond.

Available October 7th.
